Across the 8 hosts with a published renewal price, renewals average 3.9x the intro rate. IONOS looks cheapest at $1.00/mo, but over three years Namecheap is the cheaper choice.
Real 36-month cost: 12 months at the intro price, then 24 at renewal. Monthly guide prices, billed as each host bills. Hosts without a published renewal price are left out.

For every provider we track, we take the lowest paid monthly price (the realistic entry price) and report the average, the median, and the cheapest and most expensive across the 13 options that sell a paid plan. Free tiers are excluded from the paid average.
