About DreamHost
DreamHost has been around since 1996 and WordPress.org officially recommends it. Its shared hosting is sold as Web Hosting Launch. The first year costs $2.89 a month and covers 25 websites with 25 GB of NVMe storage, and the plan renews at $10.99 a month after year one. That renewal jump is real, so budget for the second year before you commit. The control panel is custom rather than cPanel, which takes a moment to get used to.
